Why should I use MediumRisk?
You should use MediumRisk because it provides a straight forward approach to execute a Project Risk Management process.
The application serves as the project's Risk Register (or Hazard Log) and since it is web based, data displayed is always up-to-date. MediumRisk is available from everywhere you can get internet access.

You can learn more about how to get started with the application from the help pages. Here you will also find answers to some of the questions you may have about starting a project risk management process.
How do I get started?
Start by signing up for a free, fully functional account (no credit card required), then you can set up a new project with risk matrices, and then start adding risks and controls. If you have any questions you are always welcome to email them to support@mediumrisk.com.
The free service plan, will get your risk management process started. You can upgrade to a full featured paid plan at any time.

Payment and Accounts
What payment options are available?
We use PayPal as our payment provider, they accept all major credit cards. If you are using one of the paid plans, you pay for the service on a periodical basis (every 3, 6 or 12 months).
Where can I change my billing information?
If you are the site owner, you can change billing information from the site's account page.
How do I delete a site from my account?
If you are the site owner, you can delete site from the site's settings page. Note, if you delete a site, all information related to the site is permanently deleted.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from your account page. If you are registered as a site owner, you will have to remove sites you own, before you can delete your account. Note, when deleting your account, all your personal account data is removed, so you cannot log in to MediumRisk or access any data on the sites.
Will my data be available if I don't extend the site's service plan?
If you don't extend a service plan for a site, the site will still be available after the service plan has expired, but in read-only mode. The API is also available for read-only actions, after the service plan has expired. Hence, you can take a complete snapshot of your data, even when your service plan has expired.
If a site's service plan has been expired for a long period, say 1 year, we may contact you by email to verify that you are still interested in keeping the site.
Free accounts that are not used may be deleted after a few months of inactivity. You will receive an email notification before the site is deleted.
Other questions
What about data safety?
We do our utmost to secure your data and communication. When communicating with MediumRisk you use a strong encrypted communication channel (256 bit SSL), so the risk of somebody eavesdropping on the communication is practically not existing. Data stored on the server is not accessible to anyone but you, people you invite to your projects(s) and by MediumRisk support. We will not access your data, unless you violate the Terms of Service, or if you ask for support to manage your data.
Can I install or host a copy of the MediumRisk software on my server?
Send an email to support@mediumrisk.com with your inquiry, so we can propose a custom solution for you.
Can I contact you for questions and/or tech support?
Yes, there is free email support for all accounts. You are most welcome to send your questions in an email to support@mediumrisk.com.
Support emails will be answered in a timely fashion, with a personal response to your inquiry - you won't receive form responses or replies from automated software.
